THE GROVE SINGERS are wishing to recruit.
It is a small friendly group of around 16 committed singers and we would be happy to recruit more.
We sing a cappella music from 16th - 21st century in 4 - 8 parts. We rehearse in Holy Trinity Church Hall, 59 Southend Crescent, SE9 2SD most Sunday evenings 7.30-9.30pm
We sing between three and five concerts each year in venues such as Churches, Gardens, National Trust houses, etc. Most of our repertoire is made up of 16th and 17th century English and Italian madrigals, French, German and English part songs and arrangements of 20th century popular ballads.
If this would interest you and you are a reasonably competent sight-singer, we would invite you to come to an evening rehearsal any Sunday evening that we are rehearsing.
Please browse our website and contact our musical director, md@thegrovesingers.org.uk Beverley Howard for more information.
