St Alfege Church is an Anglican church in the centre of Greenwich, part of the Royal Borough of Greenwich in London. It is of medieval origin and was rebuilt in 1712–1714 to the designs of Nicholas Hawksmoor.

GROVE AT ELTHAM PALACE

The Grove Singers, directed by Beverley Howard presented a selection of Elizabethan and associated music
in the Great Medieval Hall at Eltham Palace
Court Yard, Eltham, London, SE9 5QE

Taking as their reference point King Henry VIII, who spent some of his childhood in Eltham Palace, the Grove Singers devised a programme of unaccompanied choral music to entertain and enliven a visit to this wonderful building.
The event was organised by Eltham Arts and Eltham Palace. This was an Eltham Arts Winter Festival 2016 event.

The site is now dominated by the stylish house built in 1933–6 by the architects Seely and Paget for Stephen and Virginia Courtauld. They incorporated the great hall – the most substantial survival from the medieval royal palace – into the design.

St Patrick's Parish, Chislehurst West has been operating since 1961. It has an interesting and chequered history. A small cinema converted into a church it was first a "chapel of ease" and is now an active parish in the Southwark Diocese.

Church of the Ascension

The Church of the Ascension was established as the Dartmouth Chapel in 1697 by Susannah Graham, aunt of William Legge (later Earl of Dartmouth and Lord of the Manor of Lewisham). The church was rebuilt in 1750 and extended in 1838. It became a parish church on Ascension Day, 3rd of May 1883.
